Socrates, Plato and Aristotle in Athens, Greece around 450 BC, created the foundation for Western Civilization which has lasted over 2,000 years. Today, the generation of mankind now living on the earth is challenged to create a Global Civilization to endure, hopefully, for at least 1000 years.
This needed transformation –from a western civilization to a global civilization–begins with the individual, extends to the community and state, then impacts the national culture. The nation then helps shape the planetary wide culture.
For the first time in world history, a global-wide civilization is possible due to new technologies like satellites, TV and the internet. Each human, each citizen of the earth plays a role in this process for we are all pieces of the great puzzle which forms an image of human kind. Play well, your role for you are part of history. What you do may last for a thousand years. Welcome to The Play of Life.
